While regular and timely updates of our social accounts it always the goal, sometimes life and business focus means something has to give.

The result of ignoring your Instagram account can be harmful for your brand. When you click through from someone’s website to their Instagram feed and the last photo is dated many weeks, or even months ago… it doesn’t fill with you confidence that the Brand’s all that on to it right?

But there is a way to take a break from posting on your Instagram account and not have it appear abandoned when people stalk your business on Insta.

Take a gander at this puzzle feed I completed for Wild Thyme Waiheke using Canva. It helps that Wild Thyme’s owner understands the value of great images, so it was straight-forward to make the feed look inviting and on-brand.

Once loaded on your account they look amazing and when visitors do check out your feed, it looks like it’s loved, even if there hasn’t been a post for a while.
